Odds and Ends

Recently, I've made a lot of odds and ends in school (I like the "odd" part because some of them are pretty weird). And I've wanted to make another post on The Thinking Cap. So I put them together and made one solution.
The world that we live in has an unlimited amount of odds and ends. So I have decided to make a post out of any interesting tidbits I've found in the past little while. So, enjoy the show.

This was a school assignment from last term.

How Budgerigars Got Flat Beaks

Once upon a time the Utes and Piutes were the same tribe. They lived in the lands of Wyoming. One day the tribe’s god, The Thunder Bird, told them that they had to move, or else the evil volcano gods would destroy them. So they went to eastern Utah and named themselves the Utes. Some of the Utes found special berries that you could make pies out of. But the thunderbird didn’t like these Pies. So they left and called themselves the Piutes. They took all of the berries with them and all of their pets, the Budgerigars, who were kind of like scarecrows to the berry bushes. At this time the Budgerigars had long thick beaks. The Piutes made their own villages and towns. They had a big feast with lots of pies. After the feast, everyone washed their mouths and hands. Except the Budgerigars, they were so tired that they washed their feet only. They forgot their beaks. When they woke up, their beaks were stained purple. They didn’t want their beaks to be purple so they went to Australia where there was a magical pond that had water that would eventually wash off any stain. When they got there they washed and washed until eventually their beaks were not purple anymore, but they were thin and flat because all of the rubbing. After that they stayed in Australia and lived happily ever after.

Some of these Pictures of my baby sister are funny.

That's all for this time folks, be sure to tune in next time for: Bits and pieces.

P.S. Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, and Recycle!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait for Bits and Pieces. It sounds like a thrilling sequel.

I do like the Budgie tale. It explains a few things and it also makes me hungry for PIE. Thanks a lot.

I'm off to throw my empty pudding cup into the recycle bin :)
